This lamp was selected by Studio Job at the German house Manufactum. The name of the lamp in German is “Tisch-und Hängeleuchte,” which translates into English as “table and hanging light.” Able to stand on four legs, this gilded lamp can alternatively be hung by its extended neck. The lamp also looks as though it could be picked up using the neck as a handle. This is because the lamp’s slim-line upside- down design, with the light at the bottom and the neck at the top, recalls that of a torch. Instead, its industrial style make it hands-on.
