A lacquered wooden puzzle set, made up of geometric parts of pure color. The toy plays on the formal language of early modernism. Ko Verzuu was inspired by de Stijl’s elementary means of expression. De Stijl’s artists, such as its founder Theo van Doesburg, strove for dynamism in art through the tension of different forms and colors. The nature of a puzzle means that forms can be combined, interchanged and rearranged. Its cubes fit together into a square box, decorated with the metal ADO logo.
