“Noah’s Ark” are two wooden sculptures by the American artist Ralph Dorazio. Their dates are not known, but they might have been produced either in preparation for, or as a result of Mary and Ralph Dorazio’s volume “Wooden toys, Puzzles & Games” published by Creative Homeowner Press in 1985. The book includes step-by-step instructions for building boats, cars, trains, tractors, windmills, carousels, trucks, and houses, as well as rocking horses, game boards, and Noah’s ark. The two toy sculptures indicate Dorazio’s ability to manipulate wood and create soft and rounded shapes that also shone in his more abstract pieces.
