Born in Switzerland in 1988, Virgile Thévoz studied Industrial Design
at École Cantonale D’Art de Lausanne, practicing alongside celebrated
designers Sander Mulder and Monica Forster before moving on to
obtain his Master of Advanced Studies degree in Design for Luxury and
Craftsmanship at ECAL. Joséphine Choquet, born in France in 1989,
studied Industrial Design at La Cambre, a renowned architecture and
visual arts school in Brussels. After moving to Switzerland to complete
her Master of Advanced Studies on the same program, she and Thévoz met, and together formed THÉVOZ—CHOQUET, their namesake design studio. Based in London for a time and now working out of Lausanne, their collaboration began after graduation—an interdisciplinary practice focused on product design and communication, and a perfectunion of their complementary skill set. Together, they work on projects across Europe, are currently expanding into the design market in the United States, with plans to reach markets across the globe.
