Oskar Zieta - Artists - Chamber Gallery

Oskar Zięta is an interdisciplinary artist and architect whose works draw not only inspiration, but also materials from the metal industry. Oskar Zięta graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Szczecin and completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Computer Supported Design CAAD Federal University of Technology, ETH Zurich. In 2012 he received his doctorate at the ETH in Zurich. Zięta runs his interdisciplinary engineering-research studio ZIETA headquartered in Zurich and Zieta Prozessdesign Sp. o.o. of Wrocław designed to develop innovative technologies to stabilize sheet: fidu and 3+. As part of the technology FiDU, Oskar Zięta created the world’s first rolled structural steel profile. Since 2011 Zięta is the Head of Industrial Design at the School of Form in Poznan. His products are in the the permanent collections of Centre Pompidou in Paris, Pinakothek der Moderne München, Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich and Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe.
