Lucas Maassen & Sons - Artists - Chamber Gallery

After studying at The Design Academy Eindhoven, Lucas Maassen (b. 1975, Eindhoven, The Netherlands) started his career as an independent conceptual designer. Key to his work is a process of validation through apparent perception. Maassen manipulates the parameters of how objects are conveived. His work has been exhibited at The Museum of Modern Art and New Museum in New York, Grand Palais in Paris, Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rheim and Centraal Museum in Utrecht among others. Maassen teaches at The Design Academy Eindhoven and at The Academy of Art Communication and Design in Tilburg.
