Designer Kiki van Eijk (b. 1978, The Netherlands) graduated from The Design Academy Eindhoven in 2000, where she became known for her “Kiki Carpet.” One of the aspects that makes van Eijk’s work recognizable is playfulness. Her nostalgic approach combined with her poetic style is reflected in her work that includes carpets, lighting, furniture, ceramics, glassware and textiles. Van Eijk has worked on projects for Studio Edelkoort Paris, Design Academy Eindhoven, MOOOI, van Kempen & Begeer, Hermès, Zuidersee Museum Enkhuizen, Rijksmuseum to name a few. Her designs are presented in galleries, museum and fairs worldwide.
