Jerry Nance (1986, Los Angeles) is a furniture designer and maker based in Brooklyn. His practice is distinguished by attention to timelessness and quality. “I aim to create thoughtful, well-designed, and long lasting pieces that not only practical, but elegant with obsessive attention to detail,” he says. Nance participated in the Architectural Digest Design Shows in 2015 and 2016, and in the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in 2014. His goal is to create innovative, inspired, relevant, and authentic pieces, inspired by minimalism and elegance. Nance cites French designer and architect Jean Prouve and Swiss architect Peter Zumthor as important influences.
