While making jewelery, Dutch designer Jantine van Peski began studying at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. She then attended the Fashion Department of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp in Belgium, where in 2011, she obtained her Masters degree with “Wires 10.0.” For this collection, Jantine used the macrame technique, an experiment in using one type of knot to sculpt shapes around the body, thus returning to her initial interest in jewelery. Jantine van Peski gained design experience at the fashion houses of Haider Ackermann and A.F. Vandevorst. She continues to work on various projects in fashion and designwhere she focuses on craftsmanship with great attention to the materials and techniques. Her work has been exhibited in America, Denmark and the U.K.
