Coca Cola

Since its first ‘coke’, invented by an Atlanta pharmacist Dr. John S Pemberton in 1886, the Coca-Cola Company, which continues to be based in Atlanta, U.S., has grown to be the world’s most ubiquitous brand, with operations in more than 200 countries and more than 1.6 billion beverage servings sold each day. Pemberton’s bookkeeper, Frank Robinson, named the mixture and designed the logo, based on his own script. Coca-Cola’s worldwide presence was propelled by big promotional campaigns in the 1920s, such as the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam. Today, Coca-Cola produces more than 500 brands including sparkling and still beverages, waters, juices, and teas.
